I think, therefor I blog.

I've been meaning to get around to this for quite some time.

I like writing, I really do.

It's funny because I fucking hated English class. Hated it. I think it's because my teachers were crap. No, I know it's because my teachers were crap. All except for one. Well, maybe 2.

Art, math, science - that was easy, and fun. Any subject where I had to build something, or figure something out, or draw something.

But English... ...those fucking books I had to read. Tess of the D'urbervilles?? Really?? The thought makes my palms sweaty.

So anyway, the bad experiences turned me off to reading and writing. Until I started traveling.

My journals became a cool way to write, in a manner that was pleasing to my fingers. No more 5 paragraph essays, no more red marks all over my papers, no more looks of disappointment from a haggard old witch who cried every time Hamlet died.

So here is my writing. Here is my forum, free from judgement.

And Mrs. Cano, if you're reading this, my Tess of the D'urbervilles essay came straight out of Cliffs Notes.
